Connecticut
Warrens Common-School Atlas Philadelphia 1879. Massachusetts, Rhode Island og Connecticut.
Det eneste portræt, jeg endnu har set fra Connecticut, en ung - succesfyldt har man indtryk af - mand fra Hartford. Fotograferet af "Stuart". C. T. Stuart, photographer of Hartford, CT
Jeg ved ikke hvem den unge mand er. Egen samling. |
Bilederne herover tilhører Ray Petersen, som om fotografiet siger: "A. C. Petersen Farms Delivery Truck #2. From what I remember, the delivery man was named "Speed" Anderson, beyond that I don't know anything more about this image, except that I think it was the 1930s."

2014: A.C. Petersen Farms has been a central Connecticut institution since the early 1900s. Andrew C. Petersen started the business with one milk delivery route in 1914 and expanded that opportunity into farming, milk and dairy production, and restaurant operations. The Petersen name has always been synonymous with quality. The business grew rapidly through the years. There were four farms in Bloomfield, the milk and dairy production plant in West Hartford, and numerous restaurants in the greater Hartford area. In 2002, the Petersens retired from the dairy business. The flagship property on Park Road in West Hartford was purchased by long-time West Hartford resident Catherine Denton, who today carries on the Petersen mission of providing high-quality food and dairy products to the greater Hartford Community.
